Rick has been preparing personal and business tax returns for over 45 years. He has undertaken financial statement audits as well as preparing reviewed and compiled financial statements. He was also a certified fraud examiner until he retired from that in 2009.

Rick taught at Northwest State Community College from 1984 to 2009 as well as Defiance College from 2009 to 2014 for a combined 37 ½ years. His area of interest in education was public accounting. He taught auditing, accounting principles, personal and business taxes, and QuickBooks.

Rick received his BS from Bowling Green University in 1976 and his Master of Business Administration in 1981. He is a member of the National Association of Tax Professionals, and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. 

Rick currently resides in Van Wert with his wife, Deb. He has 3 adult children and 7 grandchildren.
